Cob Floor Workparty – Lochiel, Bega Valley ,Thaua Country 30–31 January 2027

Come and get muddy for a good cause!

We’re gathering for a weekend of natural building, shared skills and good old-fashioned community action to help an elderly couple bring their dream home one step closer to completion.

Nestled in the beautiful bushland of Lochiel, this remarkable home was built by a shipwright and features stunning timber craftsmanship, earth walls and plenty of stories and knowledge to share.

The cob mix will already be prepared, so all we need are willing hands to help lay the floor! It’s a wonderful opportunity to gain some practical experience in natural building, connect with like-minded folk and experience the magic of people coming together to get something done.

Whether you’re an experienced natural builder or simply curious and keen to get your hands dirty, everyone is welcome. No experience necessary!

When: Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 January 2027
Where: Lochiel, Bega Valley
Food: All meals provided for the weekend
Camping: Free camping available on site
