Sanctuary Carpentry is about creative building, functional meets natural design, and trying to keep wastage low. With a keen passion for Earthship design and its innovative technologies, we dream of a future where Earthship and Natural Buildings aren’t a stranger to the inner city.
We are available for clever, eco-minded projects in and around Melbourne, and occasional travel for special builds.

Want a house?
Or a sanctuary.
A home you can absolutely live in.
Thrive in.
Relax, create, connect, eat, play, work in, do your life in, and share it as you feel.
Why isn’t passive solar, natural light, sound privacy and running on renewables a standard in Australian homes?
Why aren’t pioneers of new technologies, energy awareness, earth restoring buildings revered as superheroes yet?
When will the mainstream get it?
We gonna sit around and wait, or we gonna build the future?

My life changed in January 2014 when I attended a workshop at Martin Freney’s Earthship in Ironbank, SA.
