Ivanhoe Passivhaus Open House - Envirotecture

Join us on the “Passivhaus under construction” tour to experience the coming together of a gorgeous family home nestled in Ivanhoe.

This “Wrighty Tighty House” has a beautiful story of the existing Californian bungalow being relocated to its new owners and then constructing a new double storey Passivhaus which better suits the needs and aspirations of our clients.

This is a double storey home constructed from the traditional timber framed construction method and has an insulated slab on ground. We have used Logikhaus doors and windows plus a good dose of builders’ care and attention courtesy of Mike and the team at Title Building Projects.

When the tour happens, there will be a fully sealed thermal envelope with the ventilation installation in progress, most of the services roughed in and the site internally battened. The first blower door test would also have been done to check how the airtightness progress has been tracking so far. This is the opportunity to see all the workings of a Passivhaus project before it gets covered up and becomes the new home our clients have been dreaming of.

The team from Envirotecture and Title Building Projects will be there to guide you through the project and answer questions (curly or otherwise)

Tickets are limited as it is a Construction Site. Please dress appropriately and ensure you are wearing enclosed shoes.
